Third-Party Validation of Afternoon School Program under TALEEM
Introduction
The Transformation in Access, Learning, Equity and Education Management (TALEEM) program aims to improve access to inclusive and quality education in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. Component 4 of the TALEEM program relates to “Improving Access and Learning at Middle Level.” To address the challenge of the supply gap with limited finances, the approach to optimally utilize the infrastructure and human resources of existing primary schools through the Afternoon School Programme was adopted.
Third-Party Validation
A third-party validation of the Afternoon School Program will be conducted from May 20-31, 2023. The validation will be conducted by M/s APEX Consulting, which has been hired by UNICEF (the Grant Agent) for this purpose. The validation will cover the following areas:
- Enrolment
- Teaching and non-teaching staff
- School timing
- School environment and facilities
Request for Assistance
The following districts have been selected for the third-party validation:
- Gujrat
- Chakwal
- Toba Tek Singh
- Sargodha
- Multan
- Sahiwal
The total number of schools to be validated in these districts is 127.
We request that you inform your field formation to facilitate M/s APEX Consulting during their course of visits for data validation of afternoon schools in your district.
